Casey Droege Cultural Productions (CDCP) is an artist-run/woman-owned business created in 2017. Droege built the business to house the ongoing programs of SIX x ATE, CSA PGH, and PGH Photo Fair. CDCP is an experiment in sustaining a for-profit, socially minded arts business while building arts economy in a city with a small arts ecosystem. CDCP has grown to offer its concept store Small Mall, a Project Space in Wilkinsburg, and an arts consulting arm.
Bunker Projects is an artist residency program and experimental gallery in Pittsburgh, PA that serves as a platform for emerging artists to develop their practice and create new works for exhibition, by providing an immersive live-work-exhibition space alongside intimate cultural programming, Bunker Projects fosters a spirit of innovative support, connecting artists at all stages of their careers with Pittsburgh’s active, growing, and hungry arts community.
$5,000 to support the Bach Choir’s 85th season, Dreams and Nightmares, which will explore musical settings of literary works. Their third concert – Mary Shelley: Frankenstein Re-imagined – will premiere a newly-commissioned work by local composer Ben Opie in a jazz, funk, hip-hop style. The Bach Choir will perform the work as sound-track to the 1931 Frankenstein film.

Alumni Theater Company is a driven ensemble that creates bold theatrical work that gives fresh voice to the experience of young urban artists and highlights their rich contribution to our community. ATC’s work validates the perspective of urban youth to both its members and its audience, building an increasingly growing and diverse community of support for both the performers and their ideas.
Alia Musica Pittsburgh is the fiscal sponsor for Afro Yaqui Music Collective, a postcolonial big band committed to a decolonized music and theater practice. The emphasis on jazz, under-recognized as having a vibrant cultural life on the Mexico-U.S. border, aligns with the collective’s goals of using music as a bridge between communities in the service of dismantling apartheid. Arts Excursions Unlimited was the result of a year long residency at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Hazelwood under the Office of Public Art’s Artist in the Public Realm Residency program. Artist Edith Abeyta worked with Hazelwood residents to develop a creative project based on a year’s worth of one on one conversations, group discussions, art activities, and numerous meetings. AEU has grown to include the Satellite Studio, a maker space in Hazelwood that provides residents open studio time and coordinated projects, and the United Hazelwood Design Team, who plan and connect with neighborhood beautification opportunities.
