$2,500 to The Sprout Fund to support Belonging: A Community Art Project.

Sprout invited people living in Pittsburgh & Allegheny County to submit original works of art that express the concept of “belonging.” Submissions were selected through a combination of juried art processes and public voting. The winning design (pictured here) was by Bob Ziller from Wilkinsburg, PA. It will be produced as a poster and yard sign and distributed free of charge throughout Pittsburgh and Allegheny County by Sprout and its partners. Additional designs will be included on a “collection of community voices” poster. Selected designs will be freely available for download, and all submissions will be displayed online as a record of the community’s response.
