Take Action Mon Valley (TAMV) is a community grassroots organization designed to combat ALL forms of community violence through activism and organizing. TAMV was founded in 2014 by Fawn Walker-Montgomery and Mae Hudson. It was inspired by the “We Need Justice Too” initiative in Pittsburgh. This highlighted and brought attention to the fact that local murders of black people had gone unsolved at a disproportionate rate.
