$10,000 to Construction Junction to support The Pillow Project‘s Thought Pockets, a series of immersive public performance-art created site-specifically for the thoroughfares and alleyways of Downtown Pittsburgh.

The Pillow Project was founded in 2004 by Artistic Director Pearlann Porter. The Pillow Projects have been all about creating and investigating new ideas in a postjazz improvisation and challenging how dance and performance is experienced. Rooted in Pittsburgh at The Space Upstairs, Projects have launched from the Pillow in Paris, London, Dublin, Amsterdam and New York City.
