Pittsburgh For Grenfell June 14th Project, fiscally sponsored by Kelly Strayhorn Theater, is a multi-disciplinary project (documentary, video installation, screening, discussion, and rally) by Hyperboy Media that will highlight a significant social justice event, which is internationally known yet quietly rooted in the heart of Pittsburgh. The tragic event took place eight years ago when Grenfell Tower, a London high-rise, caught fire and took the lives of 72 souls. At the heart of this tragedy is a Pittsburgh company that has sidestepped the issue for years and refused to bear responsibility for the victims of the fire.
